Collection consists mainly of 33 black-and-white photographs of the Waccamaw Lumber Co., showing stages of production, buildings, machinery, mules, manufacturing processes, and railroad operations dating around 1920. There are also photos of groups of employees in a camp at Makatoka, N.C., and others showing the company town. The journal, "Kin'Lin" (1983 v. III, no. 2), contains company-related oral histories gathered by students of Hallsboro (N.C.) High School.
